Elementary Ages to Adults Voice/ Piano Combination Lessons
Private and class lessons emphasize building complete musicianship. They implement singing, piano, note-reading, theory, ear training, technique, improvisation, solfege singing, composition, chording, and performance skills.
Music learning is challenging and fun and often employs activities off the piano bench. Students are also encouraged to bring their favorite songs.
Space in Private and Semi-Private Lesson openings are very limited. Students are strongly encouraged to enroll in one of Jennifer’s peer motivating group classes as their first option.
To read more about the awesome group classes Jennifer offers please see the group lesson page.
Jennifer encourages parents to attend all lessons for children age 4-8. Parents are the most influential in a child’s life, and for any young person to rehearse effectively at home, the parents must be equipped to aid them. She is committed to assisting parents in learning alongside their child as much as possible.
When a parent is able to learn with the child, everyone benefits. Often a parent get a “second chance” to resume their own musical study, or learn for the first time alongside their child. Having parents present at the lessons is a win-win for everyone.
Piano Classes are 45 minutes of focused piano instruction that encompass learning to read sheet music, play by ear, music theory, and basic singing. Learn more in the piano group lessons page.
